Antti Kärkkäinen started as Senior Engineer in R&D

Antti joined The Switch R&D Team as of January 2010. He comes with solid expertise in developing mechanics for electrical machines. Both his diploma and doctoral thesis discussed the different mechanical solutions in electrical machines. Lately, he has been working on the mechanical structures of electrical machines with a focus on performance, reliability, cost optimization and the manufacturability of the machines. In his new task, Antti continues this work with the different generator types in The Switch portfolio.

Antti is based in our Vantaa head office in Finland.

Stone Shi nominated as Director of Product and Application

With previous experience from The Switch customer projects, Stone Shi has now been nominated as Director of Product and Application. He has a master’s degree in electronics and automation from the famous Tongji University and has several years of work experience as Technical Account Manager in different multinational companies. As of December 2009, Stone’s new responsibility is to lead product and related technology-application projects for The Switch customers in China.

Stone is located in The Switch Beijing office.
